Welcome to our first blog post!

Well, after procrastinating long enough, Fred won and the blog is up and running. It needs lots of tweaking. But at my age, I am over perfecting it right this very minute. It is good enough for now and as I learn how to tame this beastly thing- it will look better.

I was making pink chicken chili this morning, not white chili because I must have tomatoes in my chili- and isn't pink a much more interesting color than white anyway. Plus, chili just ain't right without tomatoes! So Fred is yelling into the kitchen and asking all sorts of questions and generally aggravating me, meanwhile he is signing me up on blogger- sneaky devil.

So here we are- I think we should get this party started.
